Brazil Men’s World Championships

Handball’s got to fight hard for it’s standing in this football nation – but due to hard struggle of the federation the men and women have become the continental number one – and will be the host of the Women’s World Championship 2011.
By losing the Pan American final against Argentina in June 2010 after extra time the Brazilians missed their number one objective but the qualification for Sweden had been secured earlier. To play in Sweden means the ninth participation in a row for Brazil at Men’s World Championships, their best result was rank 16 in 1999. Aside they qualified for four Olympics tournaments in 1992, 1996, 2004 and 2008. In Croatia 2009 they ranked as 21st nation
